It snowed pretty heavy here, potponing our flight to Utah until Wednesday. Shoveling Sunday, today was the first day Emerson got to go outside and play in the snow! He wasn't quit sure what to think, but it grew on him.

Thanksgiving to Christmas
So, now that things are a little less busy, here are some highlights from the last month. Just under the pre-Christmas deadline.
Thanksgiving was great. Emerson liked the turkey. Go Plaid! I am jealous of his new plaid shirt collection.
Family picture, taken by Auntie Steph.
Steph fixes helicopters and flies planes. She came up from VA where she is at some army base.
Auntie and nephew
"Baby's first Thanksgiving" shirt
This is pretty fun until he grabs the glasses
When Emerson is bad, we stick him in his diaper box. Keeps him in one place for a second or so
Chillin' in his box. That was a good box. He also got pushed around a bit in there, so it served a variety of entertaining functions for child and adult alike.

Busy Weekend!
Classic bib - with appropriate dinner
Library time - quite enamored with the large colorful Disney characters.
Posing by some lemons. Emerson has been to the store a few times, but mostly remaining in his car seat. This is the second time to market with his fancy cart cover.
Hooray for front facing strollers!
By the water at Cedar beach.

October
Holy cow, the Fall has hit like a ton of molasses. Sorry for the lack of photos. Here are some highlights of the last month.
Swinging was sort of interesting, but not as exciting as we thought it would be.
Hooray for Broccoli! Doesn't get this from his Mom's side.
How many broccoli pieces can you find in this picture?
Can get about pretty well now, and is able to scoot underneath the coffee table and even the chairs.
Practicing toe exercises
Here is an action shot and some pickle eating. Hooray for pickles.

Happy Grandparents' Day!
HAPPY GRANDPARENTS' DAY! This onesie is dedicated especially to Grancie, Grandpie, Grandma Jean, Grandpa Hayes, and all of the other first-timers, but we hope everyone had a special day!
We settled for an upside down cup after forgetting the origami hat fold. But it stayed on pretty well.
Reading the Hungry Monster pop-up book, sticking out tongue.

Intense physical regimen
Decided not to play nice anymore and get Emerson on a rigorous training routine. He has to hold his ground at daycare and not get his lunch money stolen, after all.
Here we are doing hill repeats.
Uphill bear crawls
Learning to fly
and some normal acrobatics
And now for some squat thrusts.
Hopefully he will be ready for his King Fu classes.
